LANDMECO is looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Technician to install, commission and service equipment for professional egg and poultry production across France, Spain and Portugal.
This is an independent, customer-facing role for someone with strong mechanical skills, practical problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make technical decisions on site.
Your role
As Project Technician, you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, servicing and technical support at customer sites throughout France, Spain and Portugal.
You will report directly to our Sales Manager and work closely with customers, distributors, suppliers and colleagues across the LANDMECO organisation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and inspecting poultry equipment and technical systems.
- Installing equipment for layer and broiler production at customer sites.
- Commissioning new installations.
- Training customers in the safe and effective operation of LANDMECO systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation and in connection with equipment breakdowns.
- Preparing service reports and following up after each assignment.
- Coordinating tasks and technical requirements with customers, partners and internal departments.
- Making practical and technically sound decisions on site when required.
The position offers a high degree of independence. You will be responsible for planning and managing your own working day while ensuring that assignments are completed professionally and in accordance with the agreed project scope.
Before each project, you will collaborate with LANDMECO’s Project Management, Production Technical Administration, Sales and Production teams at our headquarters in Ølgod, Denmark. This cooperation ensures that you have a clear understanding of the project requirements, technical specifications and customer expectations before arriving on site.
Your qualifications
You may have a professional background as a:
- Welder or metal fabricator.
- Mechanic.
- Electrician.
- Electromechanical technician.
- Service technician.
- Or another relevant technical profession.
You have broad practical knowledge of machine construction, mechanical installations and assembly. You also have a basic understanding of electrical systems.
Experience from the poultry industry is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. More importantly, you are technically skilled, willing to learn and comfortable working independently at customer sites.

- Has a good command of English.
- Is fluent in at least two of the following languages: French, Spanish and Portuguese.
You enjoy solving technical challenges and working directly with customers. You are organised, reliable and able to manage several tasks while maintaining focus on quality and project requirements.
