LANDMECO is delighted to welcome Martin Bøgelund Ravn as our new Finance Director, who officially joined the team on December 1, 2024. With a rich career in finance and leadership, Martin brings extensive experience and a forward-thinking approach to the role, helping LANDMECO navigate its exciting growth trajectory.

Professional Background

Martin, 41, lives in Brande with his wife Elisabeth and their three children, Jonathan (6), Isabella (4), and Nikolaj (2). His career began in auditing and advisory, where he spent 15 years and became a state-authorized public accountant in 2015. Later, Martin transitioned into industry roles, serving as Finance Manager and subsequently CEO at a machining company in Esbjerg. Most recently, he was Head of Finance at a surface treatment plant in Horsens.

When asked what drew him to LANDMECO, Martin highlighted the company’s exciting strategic direction. “LANDMECO is an inspiring company with a strong strategic focus, and I see significant development opportunities in the years ahead. I look forward to contributing to this journey through strategic decision-making and a data-driven approach,” he says.

Role and Vision at LANDMECO

As Finance Director, Martin’s primary focus will be financial management, project oversight, and day-to-day operations. He sees his role as a key support function, enabling LANDMECO’s various departments to align their expertise toward achieving the company’s goals.

In his first days at LANDMECO, Martin has been impressed by the welcoming culture and dedication of the team. “Everyone has been incredibly kind and forthcoming. It’s clear that there is a high level of activity, but it’s been a joy to step into such an energetic environment,” he shares.

Overcoming Challenges

Martin anticipates that his first challenge will be getting up to speed while helping LANDMECO maintain its momentum. Starting with the year-end procedures will give him an opportunity to collaborate with many of his new colleagues, laying a solid foundation for his contributions.

Martin describes his leadership approach as trust-based and team-oriented. “I believe success is a team effort, and I focus on creating an environment where collaboration and open communication thrive. I’m hands-on when needed and aim to foster a culture of shared responsibility and achievement.”

Future Goals

In the next 1-2 years, Martin plans to focus on enhancing LANDMECO’s business intelligence systems to deliver deeper insights into performance. He is also committed to advancing digitalization across the company and implementing a comprehensive ESG reporting setup.

What excites Martin most about his role is the opportunity to work across all areas of LANDMECO. “My mission is to ensure that the finance department becomes a value-adding business partner for the entire company,” he emphasizes.
