When you step into LANDMECO’s warehouse in Herning, the first thing you notice is how organized everything is. The warehouse is exceptionally tidy, with every item neatly stored and every shelf carefully arranged.

One of the six employees responsible for maintaining this high standard is 47-year-old Thomas Mølgaard.

Thomas joined LANDMECO in October 2025, and he is pleased that he came across the company’s job advertisement. It gave him the opportunity to leave his position at a building supply store in Kjellerup and become part of the warehouse team in Herning.

“The job interview with my manager, Frank, was a pleasure. I quickly sensed how passionate he was about building the warehouse from the ground up. It was also clear that Frank values order and is committed to creating the best possible workplace for his employees.”

Quality Over Quantity

Now, nine months later, Thomas says his first impression—and everything he was told during the interview—has proven to be true.

“Even though we’re often busy, there’s never any doubt that we prioritize quality over quantity. It’s about doing things properly and never cutting corners,” says Thomas Mølgaard, who also speaks highly of his colleagues.

“It was easy to settle in here. We have a great team that supports one another, and everyone takes responsibility. So far, LANDMECO is the best workplace I’ve ever had.”

Thomas doesn’t make that statement lightly. He brings more than 25 years of warehouse experience.

“Everything is well organized, and there’s none of the rushing around or unnecessary stress that I’ve experienced elsewhere. Here, there’s a calm working environment. Even during busy periods, when the workday can stretch to ten hours, I never come home to my family feeling exhausted or just wanting to go straight to bed.”

Trust and Responsibility

Another thing Thomas appreciates is the trust that Warehouse Manager Frank Knudsen places in him and his colleagues by giving them opportunities to take on greater responsibility and continue developing professionally.

“Frank has shown great confidence in me by preparing me to act as his right-hand person whenever he’s away. I also appreciate being able to contribute the team leadership experience I’ve gained in my previous jobs,” says Thomas Mølgaard.
