Sascha Wahnschaffe Joins Landmeco: A life dedicated to Agriculture and Technology
We are thrilled to announce that Sascha Wahnschaffe, a seasoned expert with a passion for both agriculture and technology, has joined the Landmeco team as a Sales Representative. With years of experience and a strong commitment to advancing agriculture, Sascha will be focusing on building lasting relationships and providing tailored solutions to customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
A Life Shaped by Agriculture and Technology
At 53 years old, Sascha brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to his new role. Originally trained as a mechanical and automotive engineer, Sascha’s career path has been deeply intertwined with agriculture, thanks to his family’s background in both farming and commerce. His expertise and vision led him to develop groundbreaking farming systems, including mobile coops and poultry slaughterhouses, which have made significant impacts in the industry.
From the 1990s until the sale of the family business in December 2022, Sascha’s leadership in laying hen farming and modern barn equipment helped shape the future of the industry. But even after this transition, Sascha’s passion for agriculture remained. In 2023, he explored the world of ecological cleaning products, gaining valuable insights into sustainability and eco-friendly solutions.
A Return to His Roots
Sascha’s deep connection to agriculture was reignited in a conversation with Angelika Jürgens at EuroTier in Hanover, followed by a visit to Ølgod, Denmark. This inspired him to return to the world of farming, bringing his innovative mindset and problem-solving skills back to the industry that he’s always loved.
Looking Ahead: Exciting Opportunities with Landmeco
Starting January 20, 2025, Sascha will work closely with customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He will provide expert advice, introduce innovative Landmeco solutions, and continue to push the boundaries of agriculture. Sascha is driven by a desire to help farmers thrive, and his wealth of experience makes him a valuable partner.
