It’s one of the most important words for a manufacturing company, and planning becomes even more important when a company is in a really good period of growth, both now and in the future.

This is exactly what Landmeco is, which is why a so-called planning group has just been created. The group, or trio, consists of Pernille Laursen, Anni Kjær and Nicholai Thaarup.

Together, they will focus on planning and logistics to ensure that what is produced is delivered to the customer on time and on the agreed date. In short, it’s about strengthening close contact with production and the warehouse to constantly optimise capacity.

‘At Landmeco, we’ve always had good and short delivery times, and that won’t change. The new group has been established so that we can maintain the best delivery times in line with the excellent development at Landmeco in general,’ says Anni Kjær.

One of the things the group will be looking into is how the work in production and warehouse management can be optimised even further.

This is something Production Technologist Nicholai Thaarup, who started working at Landmeco on 1 November 2024, will be working on.

‘Until recently, the way it worked was that an employee would walk around the warehouse to realise that we need more of these different parts. There is definitely potential for more automation,’ says Nicholai Thaarup.
